A historical renovation of two 1905 cottages that rehabilitated their original details. The houses had been stuccoed over in the late 1920's in an attempt to make them Mission Style. Careful peeling away of outer layers and restoration of inner detail brought back the tiny VIctorian bungalows. The renovations earned a green point rating from Build it Green. The pacific Grove City Council uses these projects as an example of a successful combination of historic rehabilitation and sustainable design.
